Kim Harris

Kim received his M.Sc. at the University of Saskatchewan in the field of reproductive endocrinology. He taught Genetics and Botony at a Technical School in Saskatoon. After moving to Vancouver, he worked in a laboratory studying the effects of diabetes on smooth muscle cells. In 1987, he moved to Edmonton to complete a bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in painting. He has worked in the laboratory of Dr. Jack Jhamandas since 1989, recorded from neurons in vivo and in vitro; from slice and dissociated neurons. He has done experiments with immunohistochemistry and single cell PCR.
