It
is with great pleasure that we invite you to a lecture demonstration
and dance performance by Ms. Sonal Mansingh, acknowledged as one of
the greatest dancers that India has produced. Awards and accolades
bestowed upon her have been many, the most notable being the recent
Padma-Vibhushan award, India’s second highest civilian honour.
ISA and SPIC MACAY
in association with the Natya Dance Theatre of Chicago, will
showcase rare and hitherto unseen choreographies by Ms. Sonal
Mansingh, such as Shiv
Tandava, A tribute to India, Sunayana, Swaralaya,
Radha in Love, Ardha-nareeshwara, Peacock’s
Ecstasy, and Mary Magdalane
