  • current members of the University of Alberta’s Alumni Council (including honourary and ex officio members) and their children, parents, or spouses.

For those categories identified as being for “alumni only,” an alumnus is understood to mean someone who is a member of the University of Alumni Association — membership in the University of Alumni Association is automatic and without fee for all who have graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree, advanced diploma or advanced certificate. (If you are uncertain as to your status as an alumnus, please enquire to the University’s Office of Alumni Affairs.)

3. Conditions

Judging in the “photography” categories [Photography (Garden), Photography (Nature)] will be based on individual photographs. No individual may enter more than three photographs in each category.

Entrants in the “photography” categories warrant to the Promoter that the copyright for the image is vested in them

By entering the contest, all contestants grant the Promoter unlimited free use of the images for any purpose associated with the contest and/or its promotion.
