E.E. Daniel was professor and first head of the Department 
of Pharmacology, 1961 to 1972; he left the University in 
1977.  He served as President of the Association of the 
Academic Staff of the University of Alberta, 1966-1967, and 
was coordinator for the University’s Interdisciplinary 
Committee on Environmental Quality.
