Majstrenko, Ivan

Ivan Majstrenko worked as a journalist in Odessa and Kharkiv, and
from 1931 to 1936 he was a lecturer at the Kharkiv Institute of
Journalism. Following a period of imprisonment he emigrated to
Germany where he became one of the leaders of the Ukrainian
Revolutionary Democratic Party. He served as the editor of the
Party's monthly, Vpered from 1946 to 1960.
These records were initially given to the Canadian Institute of
Ukraninian Studies which published the memoirs of Ivan
Majstrenko.
