Matthews, Arnold Whitney

Dr. A.W. Matthews joined the University staff in 1923 as a lecturer
in the School of Pharmacy.  From 1942-1946 he served as Director
of the School.  After employment with drug and pharmaceutical
companies he joined the University of British Columbia staff as Dean
of the Faculty of Pharmacy in 1952.  He has served in various
capacities in most major Canadian pharmaceutical societies and
associations.
