McCuaig, Hazel (Rutherford)

1893-1992   

Hazel McCuaig is the daughter of the first premier of Alberta,
A.C. Rutherford.  She has been a benefactor of the University of
Alberta, from which she received an honorary degree in 1964.  Other
groups which have benefitted from her participation are the
Y.W.C.A., the Women's Canadian Club, the Old Timers' Association
and the Edmonton Archives Board.
