Wiedrick, Laurence George "Laurie"

Teacher-librarian in Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton, 1951-1960,
and Supervisor of School Libraries for the Edmonton Public School
Board, Laurie Wiedrick joined the University’s Department of
Elementary Education in 1964. He coordinated the program of the
University’s Curriculum Laboratory from 1967 to 1981, and was
awarded full professorship in elementary education in 1974. He
assisted in the establishment of the University’s School of
Library Science in 1968.
