CAFA is a non-profit association. It has an executive and council (volunteers), and two permanent staff.
The officers of CAFA are selected from the presidents of member associations. The President is elected by the council for a two-year term, and will have served on CAFA Council and in a member association in the past.
Members of council are delegated by member associations from their executive and staff.
STAFF:CAFA operates with two permanent staff: an Executive Director and an Administrative Officer.
CAFA is incorporated under the Societies Act in the Province of Alberta.
