Community Service
Community Service also sometimes known as philanthrophy is the act of donating money, goods, services, time and/or effort to support a socially beneficial cause, with a defined objective and with no financial or material reward to the donor. All fraternities and sororities execute mulitple annual events to support their Chapter selected community groups.
As a young women or man in the Fraternity/Sorority system, members get to organize and partcipate in community service events.
In 2010, the 500 fraternity and sorority members collected over $127,000 and provided over 12600 community service hours to 45 organizatoins. Please click on

In the 2008, the undergrads collected over $53000 and provided over 6700 service hours to community groups.
