Nuna Logistics MA Graduate Scholarship
Annually funded by Nuna Logistics
Value: $4,000
Eligibility: One scholarship awarded annually to an Aboriginal student (preferably Inuit, or First Nation or Metis) from North of 60 registered full-time in the Faculty of Native Studies MA graduate program who is in good academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or greater). In the event that a candidate cannot be found the scholarship may be awarded to an Aboriginal student not from North of 60 who is registered full-time in the Faculty of Native Studies MA program. This scholarship will be awarded to a different student each year.
Application: Eligible students should apply to the Faculty of Native Studies. The Faculty of Native Studies will forward the name of one nominee to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research for final approval.

Bruce Wilson Memorial Award in Native Studies

Conditions: To be awarded annually to a student of Aboriginal descent as defined by the Constitution Act, 1982 with satisfactory academic standing entering the final year of studies in the Bachelor of Arts (Native Studies) degree program. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing, involvement in the Native community, and financial need.

Harry J Strynadka Research Prize

Conditions: Awarded to a student in a 300 or 400 level Native Studies course who writes the best research paper on one or more of the following 19th century topics: the Plains Indians, buffalo/bison, or the Environment.
Donor: Harry J Strynadka, an active friend and philanthropist of the Faculty of Native Studies.
Apply: Submit a research paper to the Faculty of Native Studies by April 30.
Roger S Smith Undergraduate Student Research Award in the Faculty of Native Studies
Field of Study: This award is intended to cultivate and support research partnerships between undergraduate students and faculty members in SSHRC fundable disciplines.
