Orlando Conference

The Orlando Project hosted a conference entitled "Women and Literary History" in Edmonton, Alberta, on 11-13 September 1997. The speakers included Patricia Demers, Antonia Forster, Carole Gerson, Elaine Hobby, Leslie Howsam, Ludmilla Jordanova, Gary Kelly, Jane Marcus, Felicity Nussbaum, Valerie Rumbold, Betty A. Schellenberg, Bonnie Kime Scott, Ann B. Shteir, Jane Spencer, Susan Staves, Marjorie Stone, and Jo-Ann Wallace.

Orlando is to host a workshop jointly with the Women Writers Project (Brown University), to bring together other electronic projects on women's texts, at the ALLC/ACH conference in New York in June 2001.
