CURRENT GROUP MEMBERS

Ben Nearingburg (Master's Student) - Ben joined the group as a grad student after completing his B.Sc in Engineering Physics at the University of Alberta in June 2009. Ben's project is focused on the development of stimulus responsive polymer/nanoparticle composites.

Cheng Cheng (Master's Student) - Cheng holds a BSc in Materials Science and Engineering from Shandong University. She is currently researching biocompatible materials for use in smart neuroprostheses.

Linda Nguyen (Co-op Student) - Linda is an undergraduate student in the Chemical Engineering Co-op program. Linda is currently studying the properties of magnetically-actuated stimulus responsive polymers.

Michael Zaharodny-Burke (USRA Student) - Michael is a fourth year student in Engineering Physics. Michael is presently modelling oxygen transport in microfluidic cell culture devices.

FORMER GROUP MEMBERS

Matt Willard (USRA Summer Student, 2009) - Matt is a Chemical Engineering student in the biomedical stream. In the summer of 2009 he worked in the lab, characterizing the properties of biocompatible polymer coatings.

Elizabeth Dunling-Smith (4th year Engineering Physics Student, 2009) - Congratulations to Lizie on her job at Altagas!
