Professor(Rockefeller University) Mailing address: Research Interests My research program addresses the general problem of predicting and manipulating protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions. I am specifically looking at these issues in voltage-gated ion channels, serotonin receptors and cadherins, families of membrane proteins that are amenable to powerful comparative analyses using machine learning techniques. These protein families are pivotal in the integrative metabolism of multicellular animals. They are also likely prospects for the rational development of nano-scale devices, including complex polyfunctional protein assemblages and specific biosensors.
