[Atheists] Liquid Rationalism/Shirt Order

Hey Everyone,

We are having Liquid Rationalism this week on Thursday February 4th at
Dewey's (starts around 3 pm) where we will talk a little bit about the
debate and other upcoming events for this group. Come out if you are
interested. If you are still interested in purchasing a shirt for this
group ($20) you can sign up at Dewey's or come to the club's office
(SUB 0-40C) during our office hours. Also, if you prefer to have LRs
on Fridays please let us know.

Mandate

We are a new student group at the University of Alberta dedicated to raising awareness of and promoting discussion about atheism, agnosticism, humanism, and other brands of freethought. Our main goals are to:

promote an open, rational, and scientific examination of the universe and our place in it;

promote that ethics and morality can be meaningful based on rational and humanistic ideals and values;

promote sceptical inquiry and critical thinking;

organize activities, such as forum discussions, guest lectures, and debates that educate students and the surrounding community;

foster acceptance of freethinkers;

advocate for the separation between church and state
