Last Thursdayism

Last Thursdayaism (or Tuesdayism, or Wednesdayism) is a parody of omphalism (the belief that for the world to be functional God must have created the Earth with mountains, canyons, trees with growth rings,Adam and Eve with navels, etc. and so no scientific data can be be presumed to give an accurate age of the Earth of the universe) which states the universe was created last Thursday, but with the appearance of age. People's memories, history books, and everything was just created that way. A modern incarnation of this belief system claims"Queen Maeve the Housecat" created the universe Last Thursday and will destroy it Next Thursday, and would save those who were nice to cats and damning evildoers to the never-cleaned Eternal Litterbox. Some followers of Last Tuesdayism believe the universe is created every Tuesday.
