SUSG North America Announcement:

The IUCN Regional Sustainable Use Specialist Group (RSUSG) North America is re-forming with a programmatic focus on conservation hunting.

SUSG-NA Chair: Earlier in 2005, Dr. Lee Foote was appointed as the Chair of the RSUSG for North America. Dr. Foote is an Associate Professor in the Department of Renewable Resources at the University of Alberta.

Dr. Foote has nominated a small advisory group to assist in setting up the RSUSG. This group consists of Dr. Ramon Perez-Gill (Mexico), Dr. William Wall (USA), Dr. Milton Freeman and Dr. Bob Hudson (Canada).
