We donated $1000 to Haying in the 30's.

 

This year`s event will take place on Friday March 25th.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Edmonton Women`s Shelter.

In March of 2008, Ceres Alberta hosted the first annual Women in Agriculture. It was a fantastic evening of dinner, speeches, and a silent auction, dedicated to celebrating the contributions of women in Alberta's agriculture industry. A portion of the proceeds raised went to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. In 2009 we hosted the second annual Women in Agriculture of which a portion of proceeds went to Cityfarm Edmonton. The third annual Women in Agriculture was another great success. Proceeds went to Haying in the 30's Cancer Support Society. Thank you to all the sponsors, speakers, and guests who make this event possible year after year.

We hope to see this event continue on as an annual tradition in the agricultural community.
