Winter Training Tournament and Pacific Cup Results
Last Saturday our annual Winter Training Tournament, fondly known as the "Death Star" Tournament, passed. Facing off in a final on fatty food taxes (so you know the CP season has started) were Mary Mcphail and Ian Hruday (n) on Government and Iain Ireland and Andrea Rankin (n) on Opposition.
The Winners were side Government (Mary and Ian). Mary Mcphail was also Top Speaker at the tournament.
Special thanks to Emma James and Cassidy Villebrun-Baracas for organizing and running WTT as Tournament Directors, and Michael Thorpe for earning the title "Saviour of Lunch."
