A working lunch (click to enlarge). The Miall - Kuiken research team is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Current students working with us are four doctoral students in Comparative Literature, Paul Campbell, Cathelein Aaftink, Paul Sopcak, and Olívia Fialho, and several graduate students in Psychology: Russell Charlton, Katrina Fong, Katie Petersen, and Ming Ni. We were joined earlier last year by Isabella Mundim, a doctoral student from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil, to work on viewers' responses to TV fictions, and we are currently hosting Maciej Maryl, a doctoral student from Warsaw, Poland.

We are affiliated with REDES, an international forum for research on empirical studies of literature and culture with groups in six countries. See the REDES homepage.
