YOUR HELP NEEDED
The work for real gender equality requires all the help it can get. You are urged to join us in the effort in any way possible. Ways you can help include sending us information about gender-based injustices you are aware of, especially ones involving Alberta; and/or coming to meetings in Edmonton to assist with local activities of various sorts: lobbying officials in governmental and private agencies, educating the public, staging demonstrations, etc.
Perhaps you happen to have special experience or talents in such things as computers, fundraising, word processing, artwork/signmaking, or other skilled tasks which any volunteer organization requires. Or perhaps you just want to help in whatever way you can to bring about the large changes this society needs. In any case, do get in touch with us directly.
To make contact, you can send us an e-mail message by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page. To contact us off the Internet, at present you can phone MERGE at (780) 488-4593, or else write to MERGE at 10011 - 116th St. #501, Edmonton, Alberta T5K 1V4. You can also make contact with a related Edmonton organization, the Equitable Child Maintenance and Access Society, by phoning its information line at (780) 988-4015 for information about meetings and current events.
