To locate a "German" settlement or a Mennonite or Hutterite colony on this map, click on the name in the list on the left.

If you know the names, you can have several locations displayed at the same time (e.g., settlements around Barrhead, Leduc, or Edmonton) by scrolling down the list and clicking on the name of each location in turn ("s.d."=school district). Clicking on the ZOOM IN button once or several times will display the map at a higher resolution, and clicking on ZOOM OUT will return the map to its original size. Click on the RESET button to clear the map altogether.
