PHYS 395 Lab Evaluation and Feedback
The results of this questionnaire are for my own information to help
improve the lab component of the course.
You may return it to me or place it in the assignment box at the
entrance to the Centre for Subatomic Research building.
Please feel free to add any comments you think would be useful.
Here is a reminder of the lab topics and allocated times:
- lab1: Introduction to circuits (1 week),
- lab2: AC circuits and resonance (2 weeks),
- lab3: Diodes (2 weeks),
- lab4: Operational amplifier (3 weeks),
- lab5: Digital circuits (3 weeks).
- Would you prefer multiple-topic labs to be split into two
separate experiments or to keep them as one long lab?
- Was the time allocated to perform the experiments adequate?
- Was the time you spent writing the reports reasonable (in view
of material covered?)
- Were the labs useful towards learning and appreciating the
course material?
- Was the marking of the labs fair and reasonable?
- Which labs did you enjoy most? least? Why?
Rate the five labs from best to worst.
- Were the TA's helpful, useful, effective? Why/why not?
LEONA?
ALF?
- Which experimental topics would you want increased? decrease?
Increased (more time? more material?)
Decreased (less time? less material?)
- General comments, suggestions, complaints, compliments?
