About
Each year, the graduate students of the University of Alberta's School of Library and Information Studies host a Professional Development Day for the benefit of library students and faculty, as well as the professional community. As an annual event, Professional Development Day provides a forum for the sharing of issues and research in librarianship, as well as an opportunity for socializing and networking with others in their field.
With the support of the School of Library and Information Studies, the Library and Information Studies Students Association's (LISSA) Professional Development Day Committee works to make this day a success. The committee is comprised of current MLIS students.
