Papers! Papers are due at 5:00 on Friday 15 April. You don't need to come to class, so you can turn them in at my office, Humanities Centre 4-69, by 5:00. If I'm not in my office, just slide your paper under my door. |

Public Talk. I'll be co-presenting a public talk with Professor Jo-Ann Wallace entitled "Footprints in Cyberspace: How the Internet is Changing Biography." It's part of the English Department's annual Broadus Lecture series, it's free, and it's from 3:30 to 5:00 on Friday 8 April in Humanities Centre L-1. |

I've modified our syllabus again. Sorry. Meet Monday 7 March in Business 1-6 for our last slideshow lecture. This one's on Algorithms and "while" loops. |

I've modified our syllabus a bit. Note that now we'll be spending every other day in the lab in Arts 1-12, and the alternate days in Business 1-6 for a slideshow lecture. You should try to find time outside class to practice Perl, though. Don't just rely on our lab times for practice. |

A PDF version of our slideshow, Introduction to Programming has been posted (fairly big -- 469 KB -- so be patient). It even has the Top Secret ending that wasn't shown in class. Other slideshows will follow so stay tuned. |
