Website Project. Everyone will create a website on the free server space provided by the University. You'll create it early in the term and will continue to modify and update it during the term. (It's a good idea to read the U of A's advice on creating websites.) You'll post your Insight Papers here and I'll mark the final version of your website the week after classes end. | continually thru the term; final version

Four Insight Papers. These are short one-page analyses of our readings. They'll be marked on a 1-5 point scale and are due at classtime (late papers won't be accepted). The day your papers are due is determined by the first letter of your last name. | See Syllabus |

Citizenship. You are responsible for attending class, being prepared, and having something to say. My philosophy is that we learn in a social environment and that our class is a community. As a member of the class, you have certain privileges (access to me and my time, access to university facilities and technology, for example) but you must uphold your responsibilities (come to class, participate, share ideas, listen to others) in order to enjoy those privileges. | every day |
