Carrot Cake
|
1 C veg oil 2 C sugar 3 eggs 1 pkg sucre vanille 2 C flour |
1ˇ4 t salt 2 t baking soda 2 t cinnamon (at least) 2 C grated carrots |
Combine oil and sugar. Mix the rest of
the ingredients together, then combine the two. Bake 50-60 min at 150°C in
greased and floured pan. Ice with Carrot Cake Frosting.
Gateau
|
1 yahourt 3 pots de yahourt de farine 2 pots de sucre 1 pot d¹huile d¹arachide |
1 sachet de levure chimique 3 ¦ufs «ce que vous voulez» (chocolat, fruits, etc). |
200°,
1ˇ2 h. A servir avec des fraises.
Brownies
|
1 cup melted butter 3ˇ4 C cocoa 2 C sugar 3 eggs |
1 T mayonnaise 1 pkg sucre vanille 1 1ˇ2 C flour 1ˇ2 t salt |
Mix cocoa with melted butter. Cream sugar,
eggs, mayonnaise, and sucre vanille in a separate bowl. Combine the two
concoctions together, then add flour and salt. Bake in a buttered pan at °6-°7
for 20-30 minutes.
Brownies
|
1ˇ2 C butter 1 C sugar 1 t vanilla 2 eggs |
1ˇ4 C cocoa 3ˇ4 C flour 1 chocolate bar in pieces |
Melt
butter. Mix with sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Stir in flour and cocoa. Bake
on about °6 for 25-30 minutes in a buttered and floured pan.
Disco Crazy Cake

3 C flour 2 C sugar 1 t salt 2/3 C cocoa |
3ˇ4 C vegetable oil 1 pkg vanilla sugar 1 pkg levure chemique 2 C cold water |
Mix
dry ingredients in a mixing bowl until well blended. Make a hole in the middle
and add vegetable oil. Then dump the cold water over the top. Whisk until all lumps
are gone. Dump batter into a large ungreased baking dish. Bake at 175°C for 30
minutes.
Lemon Bars

250 g butter (softened) 75 g powdered sugar 300 g flour 4 eggs |
300 g sugar 120 ml lemon juice 5 T flour 1 t baking powder |
Beat butter,
flour, and powdered sugar, and press into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Cook at °4 for
25-30 minutes. Beat eggs and add 300g of sugar, lemon juice, flour and baking
powder. Pour over crust and continue cooking for 30 minutes. I usually cut the
recipe in half leaving out only 1 egg. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Apple Pie Magic
Filling

4-5 Apples, thinly sliced Cinnamon |
1 C sugar |
On Pie Crust, make a layer of Apple slices, sprinkle cinnamon on it
and coat with sugar. Repeat until apples and sugar are both used up.
Topping
|
3ˇ4 C flour 1/3 C hard butter (75g) |
1ˇ2 C sugar |
Combine
and apply. Bake for 1ˇ2 hour at th: °7-°8.
Real¹ Good Brownies
|
1ˇ2 C melted butter 125 g cocoa 4 eggs |
300 g sugar 1 pkg sucre vanille 100 g flour |
Mix cocoa with melted butter.
Cream eggs, sugar, and sucre vanille in a separate bowl. Combine the two
mixtures together, then add flour. Bake in a buttered pan at 160° for 40
minutes.
Killer Cobbler
|
1ˇ4 C butter (margarine) melted 1 C flour 1 C sugar 1 pkg levure chemique |
1 pkg vanilla sugar 1 large can of peaches (or other canned fruit) 3ˇ4 C milk |
Melt
butter in saucepan over low heat. Add dry ingredients and milk. Mix well until lumps
are gone (use a whisk). Dump into a large baking dish.
Cut fruit into small pieces in the can, then
dump fruit (including juice) over the top. Do not mix!
Bake at 180° C for about 35 min. Serve warm
with whipped cream or ice cream.
Yogurt Cake

1 container yogurt 2/3 C oil 2 eggs 2 C sugar |
3 C flour 1 pkg levure chemique 1 pkg vanilla sugar pinch of salt |
Combine
ingredients and bake for 10-15 minutes on 4 or 5.
