The Department of Elementary Education offers several options for teachers to further their education in second language teaching. These programs will meet the needs of teachers in Alberta’s various second language programs including FSL, ESL, international languages, bilingual and immersion programs.

Second language pedagogy courses are offered in Summer, Fall and Winter sessions. All courses taught during the school year are scheduled in evenings in order to accommodate teachers.
