Overview of Partners' Week

During Partners’ Week, MLIS students from the School of Library and Information Studies meet one-on-one with library and information science professionals to learn first-hand about the work environment of a library and to discuss some of the current issues in librarianship.

It is also a great opportunity for students to check out potential careers and put their schoolwork into context.

Partners' Week also provides professionals with an opportunity to meet aspiring librarians and learn about the latest trends in library and information studies education.

For each week (in November and January), each student can sign up to meet with one or more professionals.
