     This Gate we just stepped up to is called the 'Gate of Supreme Harmony'. The Chinese name for it is 'Tai he men'. As you can see here, the Forbidden City is surrounded by high walls, making it very safe for the old emporers. But to make it even safer, there is the two doors we just passed through so if someone breaks through the first, they still have to go through the second. On the other side of the city, there is another set of doors. Now, lets go in the city to get to the magnificent 'Hall of Supreme Harmony'. (Tai he dian)
