     Hello welcome to the tour. I will be your tour guide for today! The gate you see in front of us is called 'Wu men' or some call it the 'Meridian Gate'. It was built in 1406-1420 AD along with the rest of the Forbidden City. This is the main entrance to a once forbidden city, in which 24 emperors ruled in altogether. Now follow me through this gate and the Bridge over the Inner Golden River to get to the 'Gate of Supreme Harmony', also known as    'Tai he men'.
