Marcia obtained a PhD in chemistry in 1992 and has many years experience in biochemistry, including enzyme kinetics, the study of natural toxins, and protein chemistry. The editor is a trained teacher with a background in the physical sciences. Since 1995 Marcia's editing experience has included the social sciences, the humanities, business, law, and the Internet.
