Hi...

I'm currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Alberta, working with Michael Deyholos on various aspects of flax genomics. Before this, I was a doctoral student in the Simpson Lab at the University of Texas at Austin, where my research concentrated on using molecular phylogenies of the yellow-flowered flaxes to help understand species relationships, evolution, and historical biogeography. Before that, I obtained my undergraduate and master's degrees at San Francisco State University, where I was a student of the Polemoniaceae (and Bob Patterson).
