My interest in neuroscience began when I was in highschool. I was intrigued by the workings of the nervous system, and even more by the disorders of the brain. During the summer of 2013 I helped to analyze the involvement of the cerebellum in the emotion-dependent activation of the amygdala. This was in part to the lab's high-resolution fMRI study about the aging process of the brain. I was also resposible for the construction of the lab's website.

I am currently working as a psychiatric aide so I can gain a deeper understanding of people with mental disorders. My present role in the lab is to maintain and update the lab's website.
