Professor Rob Wilson
Department of Philosophy Rob got grabbed by philosophy for children when he was an undergraduate student in philosophy in Australia. He spent 10 weeks at the IAPC working with instructors in schools, and together with teachers in elementary and high schools worked with the program in Western Australia for three and a half years. He was the inaugural director of the Program in Science, Technology, and Society at the University of Alberta, and currently leads the What Sorts Network, a team of researchers and community activists organized around the question "What sorts of people should there be?" |
John Simpson
Department of Philosophy John has recently completed his PhD in philosophy at the University of Alberta. He is excited to be an integral part of the team of graduate students, professors and educators that form Philosophy for Children Alberta. You can see John's creative skills at work in the design of this website and other supporting materials. Other than thinking hard about the basic social structures of societies, John spends his time creating a better world by designing and running programs for the New Scouts Canada. |
