Musculoskeletal imaging fellowship


The Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Alberta is pleased to offer a one-year fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology, starting 01 August 2003. The applicant would have the opportunity to participate in a very active and varied clinical and academic program.

Three 1.5 Tesla Siemens Symphony and Sonata MRI units offer an extensive musculoskeletal MRI experience at the two tertiary referral hospitals in the Capital Health Authority.

The clinical service also includes diagnostic and interventional fluoroscopy with a wide range of peripheral and spinal procedures, and extensive hands-on experience in all aspects. The interventional component is rapidly growing and opportunities abound for collaborative research between the Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging and the Departments of Rheumatology and Orthopedic Surgery.
