Kailan Rubinoff's Homepage
Kailan Rubinoff's Homepage
Hi there, and welcome to my homepage...not too much here
yet,
besides a collection of my favourite links, but I will be adding more
stuff when I get a chance...
I hail from Toronto,
Ontario, Canada.
I'm a recent graduate from the
College of
Arts and Sciences at the University
of Pennsylvania majoring in music
and minoring in psychology.
The picture above is from my junior year--not too great, but hey, when
I get access to a scanner, I'll put up a better one!
I'm also an alum of Le
Collège
français and Jarvis Collegiate
Institute, class of '92 (the Collège used to be part of Jarvis,
but
they are now completely separate schools, with separate school
boards, and separate buildings...long story!)
I am now at the University of Alberta, where I am in
the second year of the Ph.D. program in musicology. I also play
flute and Baroque flute.
How
is it
in Edmonton
today?
Here are some links to Internet resources that you might
find useful:
MUSIC LINKS!
Here are some music links you can check out...I will be adding more as
soon as I can figure out how to work this html stuff!
FLUTE STUFF (you were expecting to find something else here????????)
Larry's site is the most comprehensive source of flute information
on the Internet--if you are looking for information on repertoire,
history of the instrument, flutists, etc. look here first. He is also the
moderator of the FLUTE
email listserv, which currently has over 1700
flutists subscribed worldwide.
If you find any more flute-related links, please email me!
