Archaeological site license reports are generated as part of the environmental approval process for new construction projects. Archaeology, which falls under the purview of the Ministry of Citizenship, Culture, and Recreation, comprises a significant component of this procedure. The sample of projects listed below outline archaeological and historical investigations conducted in southern Ontario and in Michigan by Mayer Heritage Consultants Inc. Dr. Gouglas' contribution to these reports, as either an employee or consultant, was usually as the principal historic investigator after 1993. He also produced the maps and graphics for the majority of these reports and occasionally participated in archaeological excavation. A complete list of titles is available upon request.
