Volunteer Program

The Department tries to offer students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in their field by providing opportunities to volunteer. Volunteer opportunities that come available include:


working with various department collections,

Volunteers doing final processing and organization of specimens in the Zooarchaeology Collection.

Volunteers preparing for Science Sunday, a family 
oriented activity day held the first Sunday in March.
organizing and implementing department outreach events, and
providing assistance to researchers.
