Rebirth was a completely fanbased Spellfire booster project slated to receive official status. In other words, these cards were to be tournament legal. A tremendous amount of work went into this project but unfortunately it is currently on hold.

The main goals of this booster are trying to avoid "broken card" situations and ways of enhancing theme decks. Each card in the master list was painstakingly debated and edited with those two purposes in mind.

Rebirth includes 2 new card types, the Quest and the Paladin. Paladins are basically a subset of heroes (they have a hero icon and their paladin status is stated in the text box, similar to elves, dwarves, flyers, etc.). Quests are a new card type entirely, designed for encouraging combat.
