Austin Bergquist, B.Sc.(Kin)

Bergquist has recently completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology
and has become the new FES assistant here at The Steadward Centre (TSC).
One of his greatest interests involves researching ways to improve the
health and quality of life of individuals with physical disability.
Along with Kate and Sherylin, he recently had the opportunity to travel
overseas to London
England to meet with Dr. Brian Andrews, a developer of FES rowing, to
discuss the future of FES rowing here at TSC. With this experience,
combined with his background in Kinesiology and his motivation to help
others, Austin is sure to become a valuable member of TSC team. With
Austin’s help, we expect many developments to the FES rowing program in
the near future!
