Official UAPS Trips

UAPS offers official river trips for members. Trips are open to all members who've completed a beginner kayak course (or equivalent experience). Official trips are put together by trip organizers selected by the club. Contact information for organizers can be found on the trip schedule which we publish every year.

Organizers will email trip information to all members over the club emailing list approximately 2 weeks prior to the trip. If you'd like to attend the trip please reply to the organizer either by email or phone. It's your responsibilty to provide your own food, camping gear, and paddling clothes. Kayaks and paddling gear can be rented from the club. Trip organizers will help organize transportation of kayaks and people, however it's ultimately your responsibility to get transportation. Trips organizers will chose the campground, but it will be your responsibility to pay for yourself, unless the club gets a group campsite in which case you should pay the organizer.

Unofficial UAPS Trips

The UAPS emailing list is an exellent source for unofficial UAPS trips. Paddlers will often post messages to tell people where their going and see if anyone is interested. If you want to go paddling but there isn't a official trip planned, this is a great resource.
