ULEC is a unit of Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB, Canada.Advancing Pedagogy for Ukrainian Language Learning
What we do:- develop and publish a wide variety of Ukrainian language educational resource material for primary and secondary school teachers and students.
- co-sponsor inservices to serve the professional development needs of Ukrainian-language teachers.
- maintain a resource library including books, periodicals, and multimedia material for use by teachers and students.
- we are a founding member of the Ukrainian Knowledge Internet Portal Consortium Association (UKiP-CA), developers of oomroom.ca, an online center of Ukrainian Language Learning educational resources for students, teachers, and parents.
