In  fulfilling this mandate, the Office of the Dean of Students: provides overall support and administration for University Student Services refers students to appropriate services and resources offers assistance to students who are experiencing difficulty with the University or its faculty and staff supplies information on appeals, grievances, and University policies regarding students registers and regulates student clubs and associations on campus in conjunction with the Students' Union Student Group Services administers the Student Extracurricular Activities (SEA) granting program is responsible for the Truth in Education (TIE) program oversees the Fresh Start program
