Rwanda

July, 2009

Scenery - Rwanda is the Land of 1000 Hills and an absolutely most beautiful country!

Cows - I was part of the team working with farmers on animal husbandry

Learning Spaces - We were there to teach but I feel we learned as much as we taught

Genocide Memorials - We always say, "Never forget." Will we forget again the next time?

Churches and Music - This country lives and sings it's faith

People - Wonderful people we met

Here is the Cathedral in Kigeme. It is shaped like a cross and very beautiful. The acoustics are also great.

The music was fabulous. I learned a lot of music and I taught a few songs as well. Music is truly international! Notice Origene, who an do anything, is playing the keyboard here.

The adults are getting into playing recorders. Pastor Alfred will be teaching the youth and will send pictures soon!

Pastor Alfred has a fabulous voice and taught me a lot of music.

The cathedral at Shyra was beautiful.

They received a lot of US money to replace the old church which is about to open as a museum.

At the convention in Kigali, we heard some wonderful choirs. This is the Prince of Peace Choir, joined by some Americans.

This group from Uganda had some great dance moves. And even Bishop Augustine got into the music.
