About the Co-ordinator

Serge CipkoThe co-ordinator of the Ukrainian Diaspora Studies Initiative, Dr. Serge Cipko, is author or co-author of some fifty articles, research reports, encyclopedia entries, and book reviews. He is the author of the books Ukrainians in Argentina, 1897-1950: The Making of a Community and St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, Edmonton: A History (1902 –2002), and co-author, with Glenna Roberts, of One-Way Ticket: The Soviet Return-to-the-Homeland Campaign. He is also co-editor, with Natalie Kononenko, of Champions of Philanthropy: Peter and Doris Kule and their Endowments and among the editors (with Maryna Hrymych, Andriy Nahachewsky, and Olga Nadia Kalko) of Ukraїntsi Brazylii/Os ucranianos do Brasil/Ukrainians in Brazil.
