The University of Alberta recruits, attracts and welcomes the best and the brightest minds to its programs. Applicants are expected to demonstrate English language proficiency as a prerequisite for graduate admission. We can help you get there.
Offered exclusively to graduate students, EAP 550 is an intensive course designed to build the language skills necessary for students to be effective, independent participants in graduate studies at an English language university. Course content focuses on developing the advanced reading, writing and speaking skills required in graduate school. Coursework assignments and assessments reflect the demands of graduate level study.
EAP 550 runs for 14 weeks (224 hours), four hours per day, Mondays - Thursdays. It is offered 3 times per year beginning in January, May, and September.
