University of Alberta International Artificial Intelligence Summer Program

Artificial intelligence is a force that will help shape the world of tomorrow, with spectacular advances in recent years. The University of Alberta is at the forefront of some of these advances, with its involvement in projects such as Google's DeepMind and AlphaGo. Edmonton is also quickly becoming a world-class AI research hub, with injections of funding from government and private sector which support research in areas such as data science, machine learning, and natural language processing.

The University of Alberta International Artificial Intelligence (UAI2) Summer Program gives students an introduction to the University of Alberta and the opportunity to attend academic lectures from professors and industry professionals, covering a range of topics such as:

  • Green Computing
  • Robotics
  • Security and Software Engineering

In-class lectures are enhanced with tours of labs to provide experiential learning opportunities.

The 2018 program will take place July 23 - August 3, 2018.
