After You Apply

Check Your Status

After you have submitted your application, you will have access to the UAlberta Launchpad portal to check your application status and review any checklist items for your program.

In addition to access to the UAlberta Launchpad portal, you will also be assigned a new UAlberta email address, a unique student number, and a Campus Computing ID (CCID). Your CCID and student ID numbers are issued as applications are processed. It can take up to 48 hours to receive your CCID and login information once you have submitted and paid for your application.

Note that this is different than your application number.

CCID

Your CCID will grant you access to your email account and to Bear Tracks.

UAlberta Launchpad

After you've applied, you will use this portal to upload documents, check your application status, review checklist items and more.

Note: Your UAlberta student ID can be found on the top of your Launchpad status page, above your application program choices. Your application number (also referred to as your Slate ID) is on the right-hand side of your Launchpad status page.

Bear Tracks

Bear Tracks is our online student service system. Log in with your student ID and CCID to apply for residence and/or scholarships and awards. Once you are admitted and have accepted your offer, you will be able to use Bear Tracks to enroll in courses once registration opens in April.

UAlberta email

Your UAlberta email address is the one we will use to correspond with you. You will be notified via email any time there is an update to your admission status. Some key emails may be sent to both your UAlberta and personal accounts.

Submit Outstanding Documents

Verify your Checklist in UAlberta Launchpad to see what outstanding documents and other items are still required, and ensure they are submitted by the deadline indicated on our Dates & Deadlines webpage .

If you need to make updates to your application after you have submitted it, such as correcting errors or omissions, or if you have questions about the course and grade update process, please take a look at the Submit Updates webpage.

ApplyAlberta applicants

Your final Alberta high school transcripts will be sent on your behalf when you apply through ApplyAlberta.

Out-of-province students

Your transcripts may not be transferred automatically. Please ensure they are sent to and received by the University of Alberta.
