Below are some key dates and milestones for Fall 2022 admission. For more details, see the University Calendar»

| December 1, 2021 | Applications open for programs with a Spring/Summer 2022 start date. |
| January 12, 2022 | Application-based Entrance Scholarship Deadline |
| February 14, 2022 | All students can submit new final high school marks in application. |
| February 15, 2022 | Deadline to submit Program Change Request form. |
| March 1, 2022 | Deadline to submit admission application for most programs. |
| March 1, 2022 | Applications open for programs with a Winter 2023 start date. |
| March 7, 2022 | Class Schedule released in BearTracks for planning purposes. |
| March 31, 2022 | Deadline to accept admission offer for Fall 2022 Juris Doctor (Law) program. The deposit is $1000 which is applied to tuition upon the start of classes in September. View this page for deadline information. |
| March 2022 | Registration for courses for Fall 2022 opens - check your enrolment date in BearTracks |
| March 2022 | Attend a Registration 101 Workshop |
| April 30, 2022 | Deadline to self-report final high school marks in application. |
| April 30, 2022* | Deadline for new students to apply to North Campus residences for a guaranteed spot. Applications may still be considered after this date. |

Deadline to accept admission offers made before April 1. However, admission evaluations are done on a rolling basis. If you receive an offer after April 1, view this page for deadline information. Your offer acceptance deadline can be found on your Launchpad. |

Deadline to accept Alberta School of Business admission offers made before April 1, 2022 |

Deadline for post-secondary applicants to submit final transcripts and other requirements. |
| August 1, 2022 |
Deadline to submit outstanding documents for high school students. For Alberta applicants, high school transcripts are automatically obtained on your behalf and are typically received by the Registrar’s Office in early August. |
| August 1, 2022 |
Deadline to submit final and official transcripts for post-secondary transfer applicants who received offers after June 1, 2022 from the following faculties:
Applicants are encouraged to submit their final and official transcripts as soon as possible. No extensions will be allowed. |

*First-year students are guaranteed a space if they apply for residence by April 30, 2022 and are admitted to the university by July 1, 2022
